İğneada, which is 100 kilometres away from Kırklareli on the Bulgarian border, is 3.5 hours away from Istanbul by car. The climate is Black Sea climate. It is home to Longoz Forests, which are very few in the world, and contains unique lakes. Thanks to its ecosystem, it is also home to many endemic plants.
The winter is a bit harsh, and the weather can change suddenly from day to day in summer. If you are going for a sea holiday, the weather will be ideal in July-August, and if you are going for Floodplain Forests, the weather will be ideal in June-July.
